Toronto, Canada-GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has launched this your Plug and Play media Ethernet media converter series, which follows the international standard IEEE 802.3. The series of media converter designed to convert the signals data between 10/100 Base-TX and 100 Base-FX Fast Ethernet. The data signal converted by such high-performance converters media can be transmitted to through long distance. The converters are used as a standalone unit or as a slide in the converter module to the frame or in a central wiring closet. This series of Ethernet media converter contains the following models: 3301, 3302, 3303, 3305-1, 3305-2 and 3305-3.
GAO Ethernet media converters, with builtd-in remote diagnostic capabilities, deployment of single-chip switch design, each of them has a buffer of 512 KB and address list SSRAM MAC 2K. To connect the fiber cable to twisted cable segments smoothly without any additional network operations and supports full and half duplex duplex communication.
These converters are shipped with easy to read LEDs to ensure an appropriate working diagnosis of the state. Moreover, broadcast filtering, address auto-learning and self-actualization and the role of storage and transfer mechanism are available.
